Minimum required Skills and Experience:
  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related IT discipline
  • 2+ years of experience as a Business Analyst and/or Project manager/Project Coordinator role
  • 1+ years of experience as a Software Project Manager or Software Product Manager
  • Thorough understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle)
  • Experience managing web as well as mobile development projects
  • Thorough understanding and experience of Agile development methodologies
  • Advanced written and spoken English
  • Fantastic communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders, both internal and external
  • Ability to work well in the distributed multi-cultural team environment
  • Experience working with Jira, Confluence, Trello as well as other productivity applications
  • Proactive team player qualities
The following skills and experience will be a great advantage:
  • Understanding of OOP (object-oriented programming) principles
  • Understanding of Microservices Architecture
  • Understanding of relational/SQL (MySQL, Microsoft SQL) as well as No-SQL databases (MongoDB or other) and the underlying database principles
  • Understanding of RESTful APIs
  • Understanding of SOAP web services
Responsibilities:
  • Full requirements lifecycle management – from business requirements elicitation down to detailed development tasks
  • Solution Prototyping in close collaboration with product managers and other stakeholders
  • Managing stakeholders and senior management expectations
  • Create work-breakdown structures and assign developers with tasks related to their area of expertise
  • Assess, plan for and manage project risks, issues, escalations and problem resolutions
  • Report the status of key milestones
  • Work with quality assurance analysts (QA) and other internal and external stakeholders to deliver high quality software solutions
  • Implement effective project control by monitoring the progress of the technical development stages together with development leaders
  • Direct and prioritize the workload of the development team alongside with technical leaders
  • Provide regular reports and status updates to the management using a clear and structured approach
  • Coordinate schedules and requirements between the Development team and business stakeholders
